Heart Health Lunch & Learn with C3

JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall recently hosted a special Lunch & Learn with Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3), featuring cardiovascular nurse practitioner Victoria Skobel. The presentation focused on “Women’s Heart Health – What You and Your Loved Ones Should Know,” highlighting how heart disease remains the leading cause of death in women and why recognizing risk factors and symptoms is so important. 

The program covered practical steps for prevention, including lifestyle changes, knowing your “numbers” (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar), and advances in cardiovascular imaging that help detect heart disease earlier. Vicki shared details about C3’s new office in Heath, which opened September 2, 2025, and features state-of-the-art diagnostic tools such as the Arineta SpotLight Cardiac CT and Siemens PET/CT scanners. The session ended with an engaging Q&A, giving our members the opportunity to ask questions about their own heart health and ways to support loved ones.
